Lisa kessler

Group fitness instructor

Lisa has been practicing yoga since 2018 and received her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga Hive in Pittsburgh in 2024. While initially pursuing yoga primarily as a form of exercise and as a way to rehabilitate a running injury, Lisa quickly fell in love with the mind-body connection that the practice brings, as well as the as the sense of peace, strength, and clarity it cultivates. As a teacher, Lisa strives to create a welcoming and inclusive space where students of all levels feel empowered to explore their practice. Her classes blend thoughtful sequencing with moments of stillness toself-compassion, encouraging students to listen to their bodies and to build strength, flexibility, and resilience both on and off the mat. Lisa is originally from New Jersey, and has lived in Pittsburgh since 2009. Outside of yoga, she enjoys running, hiking, singing with her acapella group, and exploring new restaurants in the city with her partner. She is currently a behavioral health analyst for the Allegheny County Department of Human Services.
